Lee led the Foundation’s analysis of employment and labour market policy and the Financial Health Index. Prior to that he completed a number of evaluations of substance misuse and youth offending interventions on behalf of the Youth Justice Board, the Home Office and the Army. In 2008 Lee received a PhD in Political Science from the University of Essex for his evaluation of formal models of coalition formation in the new democracies of East Central Europe, for which he was awarded a full scholarship from the Economic and Social Research Council.
