Gavin is Executive Chair of the Resolution Foundation and Chief Executive of the Resolution Trust. Previously, he was Chief Executive of Resolution Foundation and before this worked in Whitehall for a decade at No 10 Downing Street as Deputy Chief of Staff, member of the Council of Economic Advisors at HMT and chief policy advisor to the Secretary of State for Education. Gavin is also Chair of the Living Wage Commission, member of the DWP Labour Market Board and board member of the Orwell Foundation and Political Quarterly.
