Living Standards: the 2015 challenge with Rachel Reeves MP

Living standards will be at the heart of the 2015 general election. This event launched new polling from the Resolution Foundation and YouGov which gives fresh insight into what voters think Labour can (and can’t) achieve on the economy and in relation to living standards at the 2015 election.

YouGov’s Peter Kellner presented the research. Rachel Reeves MP (Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury), Gavin Kelly (Resolution Foundation) and Gaby Hinsliff (The Times) responded, providing insights into the potential policy responses Labour might choose to pursue. Anushka Asthana (Sky News) chaired the event.

This event is part of a Resolution Foundation series on living standards and the 2015 election. The project was launched in April 2013 and includes events at the Liberal Democrat party conference with Danny Alexander MP and at the Conservative party conference with Jesse Norman MP and Robert Halfon MP.
