A structural widening gap in income and wealth between the younger and older generations poses new challenges to achieve a fairer and more egalitarian society and a sustainable economic welfare. As the Director of the Resolution Foundation and a Commissioner on the Intergenerational Commission, Torsten discusses the living standards of different generations from the post-war Baby Boomers to today’s Millennials and the challenges that follow from housing to the world of work.
