Adam Corlett

Principal Economist

Adam joined the Resolution Foundation in May 2014 and his writing and analysis focus primarily on household incomes, taxes and welfare policy. He has led the Foundation’s modelling of future inequality levels, looked at global income trends, housing pressures and automation, and made recommendations for improving the UK’s income and poverty statistics. His work on public policy has included a range of proposals for reforming council tax and inheritance tax (as part of the Intergenerational Commission), scrutiny of tax reliefs, and analysing the impact of benefit changes. Previously Adam worked at the think tank CentreForum and studied sciences as an undergraduate and postgraduate.
